A vergonha surge quando nossas necessidades n\u00e3o s\u00e3o atendidas nas primeiras intera\u00e7\u00f5es e n\u00e3o as atendemos. N\u00f3s mesmos viramos as costas internamente \u00e0s nossas necessidades se aprendermos a pensar que elas n\u00e3o s\u00e3o importantes. A vergonha mant\u00e9m uma falsa autoimagem: v\u00e1rias cren\u00e7as e percep\u00e7\u00f5es da pr\u00f3pria inutilidade, inadequa\u00e7\u00e3o ou maldade. Escondida na falsa autoimagem est\u00e1 a ideia de que se os outros soubessem o que eu realmente penso, sinto ou sou, eles me rejeitariam. Um falso eu ajuda a sobreviver. Aprendemos a acreditar que atrav\u00e9s de um falso eu e de diferentes pap\u00e9is, ganhamos aceita\u00e7\u00e3o. Para algu\u00e9m, o papel pode ser cuidar, para algu\u00e9m, agradar ou atuar. A conex\u00e3o com os pr\u00f3prios desejos, necessidades e autenticidade \u00e9 perdida. A vergonha \u00e9 muitas vezes encoberta por outros sentimentos ou a\u00e7\u00f5es; enfrentar a vergonha pode ser muito doloroso. Quando algo aperta nosso bot\u00e3o de vergonha, isso nos lembra da vergonha rejeitada dentro de n\u00f3s, podemos escapar para tr\u00e1s de pap\u00e9is, outras rea\u00e7\u00f5es emocionais ou rumina\u00e7\u00f5es constantes. Para atuar, exagerar, raiva, v\u00edcios, dramas ou pressa.<\/p><p>Como a vergonha se conecta com os problemas alimentares? Precisamos entender onde est\u00e1 a raiz da nossa vergonha e como ela aparece em nossas vidas. Que tipo de pap\u00e9is ou padr\u00f5es de comportamento voc\u00ea construiu ao seu redor para proteger seu verdadeiro eu vulner\u00e1vel? \u00c0s vezes, os comportamentos alimentares compulsivos s\u00e3o ferramentas para entorpecer os sentimentos de vergonha ou, em algumas situa\u00e7\u00f5es, pensamos que a comida vai tirar a dor e nos acalmar. Usamos a comida como forma de regular nossas emo\u00e7\u00f5es. Se nunca enfrentarmos o nosso verdadeiro eu e as emo\u00e7\u00f5es dif\u00edceis que surgem e o sentimento de vergonha, continuaremos com os padr\u00f5es prejudiciais. Comece a ouvir o sentimento de vergonha, o que ele tem a dizer e aborde-o com compaix\u00e3o e compreens\u00e3o.
