woman looking in the mirror and seeing herself

What If You Never Needed to Become That Person?

I don’t think coaching should make you better. I think it should help you see clearly. Those aren’t the same thing, even though we treat them like they are.

I spent years as a competitive athlete chasing exactly that: better. A better body, better results, a better version of myself. I got good at it. I won. I achieved. And somewhere in there, I broke down, the kind of breakdown nobody around me talked about, because from the outside, everything looked fine, even admirable according to society.

That experience became a book, Aito Elämä, in 2021. Writing it forced me to ask a question I’d never really let myself ask: what if I never needed to become that person in the first place?

I’ve seen the same pattern up close, over and over, in people far more accomplished than I ever was and I’ve lived it myself. Intelligent, driven people optimizing a life that was never quite theirs to begin with. Not because they’re broken. Because almost nobody ever taught them to stop long enough to ask what they actually want, versus what they’ve been trained to chase.

That question, not another program, another routine, another fix, is where I think real coaching should start. Understanding yourself well enough that you stop needing constant improvement to feel okay.

This is the work behind The Art of Living, the space I’ve built for exactly this kind of coaching. Individual, one on one, for people ready to ask what it’s all been for. If that question is sitting with you right now, I’d rather have a real conversation about it than sell you anything.

If this resonates, book a call and let’s talk more.
